Will and Darby met on Tinder in September of 2022; attracted by his ravishing good looks and ridiculous bio, she matched with him but then ignored his greeting. Will, doubtless urged along by the hand of fate, sent a rare double-message a few days later. Thankfully, Darby was annoyed enough by this to respond, and she agreed to meet up for drinks at a (terrible, cold, unpleasant,) bar the next evening.
About twenty minutes into the first date, Darby spontaneously uttered that she would probably never get married. Will, who was already in love with her by that point, took up the challenge. Within a few weeks, they were spending most evenings together, within a few months, they shared a bout of COVID, a cat, and a mailing address, and just under a year from Darby's declaration of eternal singledom, Will proposed in the woods of Forest Park during a hummingbird release and Darby accepted.
Darby and Will enjoy spending time together exploring St. Louis parks, investigating faraway restaurants after birdwatching, throwing darts at Blueberry Hill*, and forgetting to take pictures to put on this website.
*In the dart room, not at the building itself.
